Email Marketing Security is the processes that are used to identify,
filter, and control the delivery of email messages from senders to recipients.
It is getting harder to reach people by email because of the abuses of
companies that send unwanted messages. To help control the delivery of
unwanted messages, email security processes have been created. Some of the
security tools used in email management include online reputation, authorized
sender lists, rules for senders, and sender authentication processes.
Online Reputation - History of SPAM causes emails to be blocked White List – A list that allows messages to be received. Ask people in email marketing to add your address to the white list. Black List – A list that blocks messages from being received or viewed. Sender Address Verification (SAV) - Sender must verify their address to get through the SPAM filter Sender Policy Framework (SPF) - Rules that define what emails can get through the SPAM filter Sender Address Verification (SAV) - Sender must verify their address to get through the SPAM filter Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) - An authentication key that is shared and used between email senders (their server) and email transmission networks (such as Internet service providers).
